With over a year, the new <strong>Cruise Terminal<\/strong> puts Leix\u00f5es once again on everybody&#8217;s lips by being <strong>honored with the international award for architecture and design<\/strong>. Considered the largest project ever of opening the port to the city, Leix\u00f5es became an important <strong>entrance gate<\/strong> to <strong>cruise liners<\/strong> and <strong>passengers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Taking into account the growth of the <strong>Port of Leix\u00f5es<\/strong> over the years, <strong>APDL<\/strong>, Administra\u00e7\u00e3o dos Portos do Douro, Leix\u00f5es e Viana do Castelo, decided to implement a <strong>Document and Process Management solution<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>iPortalDoc <\/strong>to <strong>streamline the work method<\/strong> of the several departments. Based on iPortalDoc, APDL <strong>manages several processes<\/strong> that include <strong>documents of internal movement<\/strong>, <strong>letters<\/strong>, <strong>emails<\/strong> and <strong>supplier invoices<\/strong>. They also manage <strong>Quality processes<\/strong> (namely, the handling of complaints), <strong>Contracts<\/strong> and <strong>Procurement Procedures<\/strong>.
